Searching on calc field?

Hi,

I have created a calc field. However when I go to search tab, the calc
field is not there. Can you not search on a calc field? I am trying this
because it appears you cannot search for a value within a field that begins
with a space ie ' ABC' as DADE simply deletes the space so that you are
searching on something you didnt intend to.

    Hmm, when i exited my app and re-entered I could then search on calc field??
    Some sort of refresh problem. Oh well!
