Is there any way of turning this off in the Report Designer and using the
way Delphi links queries.
I am aware that there would be a performance hit but at least I could get
finished the hundreds of reports I am trying to complete conversion of from
QRDesign to RB.

Dont worry about answering this post. Having spent the weekend thinking
about I have decided to change my approach to one where I create temporary
answer tables containing the master data for the more complicated stuff.
