Sending Printer Codes to Printer
I am working with a POS-X XR500 printer and need to be able to send codes to
the printer to get it to open a cash drawer. Below is the codes that the
manufacturer said needs to be use.
Most point-of-sale software will have a place for you to enter the
appropriate codes to open the cash drawer. For Pos-X printers the code to
enter is: 27,112,0,25,250
I need to send these as the Receipt report begins to print. Can you please
give me some help on how do I make this happen with Report Builder
Thanks,
John Johnson

Take a look at the following example of how to send ESC commands to a
printer using the Windows API routine Escape().
