Help: Unable to load BeforePrint Code GroupHeaderBand12, no object with this name found

edited October 2002 in RAP
Hello!

we are using Delphi 5 with the Reportbuilder 6.03.

On complex reports with a many of codelines in the Report sometimes we get -
after the Reportdesign was saved and loaded to print - the Error 'Unable to
load BeforePrint Code GroupHeaderBand12, no object with this name found'.

When we reload the designer the GroupHeaderBand-Names are really changed in
the number to anything else. Most to a higer number. Then we have to edit
all the codelines which used the Properties from the GroupHeaderBandObjects.

Why does the Reoprtbuilder changes the Bandnames and what can we do against
this.

Greetings Ren?

PS: Don't worry about my terribal english!

You need ReportBuilder 7 for Delphi 5. There was a bug in 6.03 which was
fixed in RB 7. The bug was related to group band names getting out of sync,
hence the error you have described. Contact info@digital-metaphors.com to
upgrade or order directly from our website www.digital-metaphors.com

    Hello!

We have many reports designed, and by changing to the 7.xx version we have
    to test them all.
This is not possible in the moment.

Is there no way to fix this bug in a 6.xx Version???

    THX Ren?

We support the latest release (RB 7) only. We do not support RB 6.03, or
any previous version, with patches or updates. RB 7 is the latest version
we offer and it includes the fix. You'll need to order RB 7.
