Create Button, Combos on Runtime with Events

edited May 2007 in RAP
Hello,

is it possible to create buttons in the preview toolbar on runtime?
reason:
I want to create a botton or combobox in RAP. Then the user can klick on it
or change the combo to get a new sorting. With RB10 i have the object
TdaSQLBuilder to "translate" those selections to a compex sort.

1. how to add Buttons or Combos at runtile
2. how to get the events in rap out of these controls?

    Hi Chris,

There is currently no way to add a button to the toolbars at runtime. One
option would be to create a custom preview plugin and hide or show the
custom buttons based on a certain condition at runtime. This would most
likely need to be done with a passthru function in RAP.

    Hello
yes this is an idea. Perhaps also for a major release it would be nice to
spend some user buttons and combobox and statusfield, which are not visible
by default. The should be handled by standard RAP events and with some basic
methods to change captions and so.

    for release 11 or 12 ;-)
