Is there a tool that will allow the viewing of a RB file (.rtm) without having the full report builder install? Looking for a good way to code review the diff for RB files.
Report templates can be saved as ASCII text by adjusting the Report.Template.Format property before saving. The .rtm file will then be viewable in virtually any text editor. This should make it fairly easy to perform a diff on different versions of the template.
So, we use a software product that uses ReportBuilder forms internally. A recent upgrade changed the format of the RTM files, making them not backwards compatible to old version. I was trying to share a document from the new version to a fellow user on the old version and they are not able to load the RTM file- multiple errors related to the RAP code not being found.
Is there any way convert this back to old version where the RAP code was encoded ?

We only have resources to provide tech support to RB developers with an active license.
But answer is no.
