Changing Paper Bins

edited July 2001 in General
Hi all,

sorry, but my urgent problem is not yet solved.

Perhaps someone can help or confirm the following problem.

I have a HP Laserjet 2200 DTN with 3 paper bins. The standard tech tip
"Printer - > Selecting Paper Bins for each Page" seems to fail here but I
had never problems with a Laserjet 5 with 2 paper bins or a Lexmark printer.
My goal is to to print a simple 3 page document; First page out of bins 1;
Second out of bin 2 and third page out of bin 3 and later with all
combinations. But I can't get it working. The first page (bin ) works; but
not the following. So Demo 121 works - but with only one page (frame).

I downloaded the latest printerdriver from HP dated from 02/04/2001. No
success. The german hotline told me that this printerdriver does not support
changing paper bins in the above described manner. Can someone confirm this?
I have my doubts. Is there anybody who has a printer with 3 paper bins and
has no problem changing the bins? Is there a workaround? Perhaps with PCL 5e
emulation and controls and such DOS stuff.

I have Win2K installed and work with standard edition 5.56.

With little aspect of success

Sorry, to hear of your troubles with the printer driver. I would research
using a different printer if their printer driver doesn't support it.
Escape calls are not a trivial pursuit to send to the printer while RB is
printing and we have no expert information which will help with this
    approach.
