Sending a .PRN file to the printer
I do understand this is not a direct RB question. However, since it is
a printer question and an RB Report I will ask it here.
We have a number of reports designed for a large format printer 11 x 17
and a few even larger. We have given the user the option of saving to a
printer file .PRN. After the report is saved to a .PRN file they can
send it to us and we will then print it for them. This is an option
supported by all printers that I am aware of. Saving the file to a .PRN
file is not a problem. However, printing it from the .prn file is. So
the question is. How do you send a .PRN file to the printer.
I would assume it could be sent to the printer directly from the command
line, however, we have yet to get it to work.
Any help that can be given would be appreciated.
