External Exception 46? (again)
Hi, my technican has checked when he exchanged the motherboard (the computer
which can run the reports without error), the programs run smoothly with no
error. Previously he had exchanged the RAM, display card, network card, but
without success.
Q: Will the motherboard (ignoring RAM, display card) affect the delphi
program (RB reports issue External Exception and looping to hang the
computer for some reports, the reports are without any special comparing
with others normal reports)? any hint?
Benson.

caused by a floating point calculation which is performed incorrectly at the
hardware level. We've run across this in the past, where the floating point
calculations are handled differently depending on the processor. Maybe
search the borland newsgroups for topics on this issue.
