money display format
My problem seems to appear recently after I upgraded to RB6.02.
The default money display format is now ($123.45) for -123.45
I believe it used to be -$123.45. How can I change that so all reports are
consistent?
Also, even if I highlight a data field on the report designer and change
the display format manually to the format above, it still displays
($123.45). It works if I want to just display -123.45 without the dollar
sign.

I suggest you first check your Regional Settings (Windows Control Panel)
under the Currency tab to see if that has changed. If that isn't it, I'm not
sure why that would change in v6.02. Mine works properly.
