Floating objects

I have created a two page report using a subereport. On the first page I
have a plain text box it used to be surrounded by a box which I got rid
of when I got rid of when problems started occuring. I replaced the box
with four individual lines I drew to represent a box.

When I run this report my test show up on page 1 in the correct location
and the LINES ARE NOT THERE . Page 2 looks fine. Page 1 of the next
report for the next record shows the lines in the correct locaion and
also in the area immediately below the header. This scoots everything
else down far enough on the page that the next page is blank.

How can I remedy this situation


I appreciate any help I can get on this.

Check out the ShiftWithParent and StretchWithParent properties of the line.

If the goal is to create a box around a subreport, then drop a Region in the
band, and drop the subreport inside of it. The region will stretch and you
will get a box around your subreport.
