Problematic Persistent ppFields

edited November 2001 in General
Hello..

Have read other threads (thanks, Tamaracka.Com), have tried all the
superstitious haxxor things to get the ppFields to refresh and actually BE
persistent in the form, nothing works..

If I'm VERY lucky, I *can* get the ppFields to show up, using the method
described in another thread, resetting the DataSource's DataSet and then
setting AutoCreateFields to True, Dbl-Clicking the Pipeline, and then
setting AutoCreateFields to False, saving the form, etc..

When I DO get them to show up, they DO NOT get saved, or even appear, in
the Form's list of controls.. Not in the DFM..

And this plays MAJOR HAVOC with anything regarding Form Inheritance with
DbPipelines on the form..

Can anyone discover a method that persistently works? (pun intended)
Of course, OTHER than creating them manually.
And OTHER than upgrading to Delphi 6.
(Having already changed all DataModule usage to invisible TForms)

Or, when will this be fixed?
