Team DM, don't break your heads
Hi, i found the error of the famous variables on the group footer and
summary bands. ALL WAS PERFECT IN RB!! and i'm a little more gray haired
now.
The problem is with ExtraDevices... when i export the report to Excel,
some records are saved twice!! That's why the SUM inside RB was
different that the SUM with Excel!
Thanks for all your help and concern trying to help me solve this issue.

visible property is set to false.
I can't export the report with the footer band because it'll cause the Excel
data to be divided with all the the data in the footer of the report on each
page break, so in the BeforePrint of the report i'm hiding the footer if the
report is being exported.
But, for reasons i don't know when the footer is hidden the first record of
the next page is exported twice.
Is this a bug of the RB exporting process or is a Waler problem?
thanks
Then you can import the text file into Excel. If native RB text output
works, but ExtraDevices doesn't, then send an example to James Waler (the
author of ExtraDevices).

property to false to all the components inside the band all works fine.
I'll try what you say in order to know if it's a RB or a Waler problem when the
bands are hidden.
thanks
The .raf in the other hand is generated properly. Only when i hide the footer
the exporting problems raises.
controls you want to print to the text file.
