Background Image

edited January 2002 in General
I have an image I want printed as the background of a report. The image is
8.5 x 11 in landscape so I set my margins down to 0 and put it on the band
at a size of 8.5 x 11.

When I go to print it prints off forever, the first page with all my labels
and the rest all blank.

If I move the Image to a Page Style band it prints off only one page put it
starts half an inch lower and cuts off a half an inch on the bottom.

Please Help.

There is an unprintable area on the paper that the printer can't physically
print on. Usually it is about 0.25 inches on each side. You'll have to
check your printer driver specifications for the exact unprintable area.
That's probably the problem. You'll have to shrink the image size to fit
    within this area.

It use to work when we were on 5.5, now we are on 6.0 and it won't work
    anymore.

I have also tried cut the image down by removing its margins, then putting
the margins back on the report. Getting the same result.

It's not till I reduce the image to less then 1 inch margins will it work,
but I need them at .25 per side for the report.

Note: When the image is reduced below the 1 inch margin the labels will
still print up to the 0.25 inch margin.

Can a TppShape print in this area, while the image cannot? Does the problem
show up on other printers? Does a different image cause the same problem?
Send us a simple working example and we'll run it here.
