Title Band...

edited January 2002 in General
I'm wondering if it is somehow possible to force RB to print the Title Band
on every page. This would save me some work in changing around a lot of
existing report templates.

Cheers, Marco...

Use a group header band and place the title contents into the group header
band. Create a group around the entire report. Base the group on a custom
field such as a static label in the group header. You do not want the group
to ever break. Close up the group footer band to a zero height. Set
'Reprint Group Headers on Subsequent Pages' = True in the group dialog.

    Hi Jim,

thanks for your suggestion. This resolution has two problems though: a) It
requires me to revisit every report to do some re-designing and b) The
header band is displayed above the group header band. I assume there is no
way to "persuade" RB from code to display the title band on every page, huh?
    :)

That's a good idea, since the header band needs to print below it.

Another approach would be to just use the header band. Place a subreport at
the top of it, which contains the title band components.
