Printing Problems

edited February 2002 in General
I have just tried to print a few of my landscape reports to a laserjet 3
printer. It appears to be missing the lines off of the report when it is
printed although they are there on the preview.

Any ideas what this could be and how to fix it.

Some printer drivers aren't able to draw lines very well. Try a Laserjet 4
printer driver (this driver works well for us) as a test to see if it is the
    driver's fault.

Yes, you can install any printer driver as the default one. RB will use the
default printer driver to generate and determine the pagination for the
report, even when previewing to the screen. The line problem can only be
researched by actually printing on the printer, as it will always print on
    the screen.

Installing other drivers and printing to the screen, you can isolate
pagination issues. One example is if one specific driver is causing
infinite pages, because its largest available area is smaller than the
largest static height component in the report.
