Tips and usefull tools
Hello,
Just wanted to post some ideas regarding usefull funcionalities on RB.
When working on a complex Report with multiple sub-reports, and i mean
"multiple", one can't help noticing the fact that the line u use for the
sub-reports easily gets overwhelmed by the number of sub-reports. Of course
we could navigate in them, using the Report Tree, but the tree uses precious
screen space.
It would be very usefull if a double click feature would be implemented
in the subreports, automatically swicthing to them, thus making navigation
much easier, so i see it.
Another thing, which is in my opinion very important, is the fact we
cannot edit the report in preview time. It's a very usefull feature, since
many times one has to make those little ajustements in the report, now
having to recalculate it (the report) everytime we need to change something.
Also, it's one of the last few things in which Crystal has minor advantage,
which makes me wonder why haven't u already implement this?
It's just some idea and thoughts, that i expect r viewed in a good way,
of someone trying to help.
Thank u,
Pedro Bento
