EListError saving file

edited February 2002 in General
Hi all.

I use RB 6.02, and if I make a change in the report editor, close the editor
and press save in the IDE I get a EListError every time. It says that an
index is out of bounds, but the number stated in the message is usually
different. Is this a known issue and will upgrading to 6.03 solve it. It
only seems to occur in reports in my current project, and only when I have
used the report editor between saves. Just tried a blank project with a
report in and cannot seem to make it happen.

Thanks for any help.

John.

Try temporarily switching your print driver to HP LaserJet 5. If the error
goes away, download the latest print driver for your current printer.

    Hi Tom.

Tried that but did not get a result. Same error again. Maybe my HP
LaserJet 5 driver is out of date too. For what it is worth, the printer I
am using is a Lexmark Optra W810. Any other ideas? Will try upgrading my
printer driver anyway. Easy steps to recreate in my report:-

    1. Double click the ppReport component.
    2. Select a label and change from bold to unbold (or any otehr simple
    change).
    3. Close report designer.
    4. Click Save.
    5. Error occurs but saves ok.

    John.

It's a long shot, but you could try deleting your RBuilder.ini file. You'll
    find it in Windows\System...
