Preview in design mode forces all captions to be prompted

edited February 2002 in General
Using D5, RB 6.03. I have a report which I edit at design time. No fancy
things on this report. If I click on preview in design mode, I can see the
preview of the report. When I click on the designtab or the calctab to get
back, all captions are prompted again, as if I have double clicked on them.
The same happens if I am in preview mode and close the designer window.

Any idea?

What do you mean by Caption? What you do double click on to get captions?
Do you mean the Autosearch dialog? I don't get any strange behavior on D5
and RB 6.03 at design time, even with autosearch enabled.

    Sorry for beeing not precise.

On my report I have TppLabels. If you do a double click on this TppLabel, a
dialog pops up and you acn enter the Caption (sic).

The behaviour I tried to describe is:
I switch my report to preview mode. Preview is ok.
I click on the Calc-Tab or Design-Tab or close the designer. For every
    TppLabel the dialog pops up.

The dbl-click caption editor is not part of the default behavior of
TppLabel. We've never coded this feature. You have a modified TppLabel
component or a descendent of TppLabel?

You are right, the labels do not respond to double click. So - no - this
occurs with RB labels and no no additional components installed.

Fogive me, but I'm clueless as to which dialogs are popping up. Please,
send a screen shot of the designer with one of them to
