Grouping within a crosstab

I'm creating a crosstab which groups something like...

Customer
Jan Feb Mar Apr etc.
Item1 1 4 2
Item2 2 2 2

etc.

My problem is that I need each Customer grouping to come out on its own
page, giving the appearance that each page is, in fact, a report in its own
right.
How do I force the crosstab tostart a new page whenever the customer
changes?

Create a master detail report without a subreport. Create a group in the
main report on the key linking field. Set the group to start on a new page.
Connect the detail datapipeline to the crosstab. The crosstab should
generate for all of the records in the detail dataset, just like a subreport
would do for detail data.
