Strange problem with report
Hi there,
I have this report with a header, detail and summary bands. Sometimes it
gets printed out OK, but most of the time only the summary band comes out.
At other times, header and detail bands do print OK but the summary band is
missing. In either case, the Preview do looks just fine (!), problem is in
the paper sheet. Other reports in the same application (about 15 of them)
are always printed OK.
I've checked the main properties of the trouble report component and they
look OK to me, just like in the OK reports. The printer model does seem to
matter, as the report comes out bad with either an Okidata dot matrix and a
HP Laserjet 5 (at my client's office) but comes out always OK on my Lasejet
4L.
Any hints are appreciated.

and the Okidata. Can you send us this report with a snippet of data in a
paradox table so that we can run it to get this behavior? There must be a
problem with the driver returning different available space and the report
engine getting confused. It should print the summary band however, even if
it has to print it on a new page. Send it to support@digital-metaphors.com
We have an HP LJ 5, so testing this for us is going to be easy:)
