CrossTab DEMO

I loaded the CrossTab DEMO.DPR project to take a look at some cross-tab
report demos. After running the application, the first thing I do is click
on demo #2 (Two Column Dimensions) and then click on the Preview button.
After clicking on the button, I get an Invalid Variant Operation error. When
I tried the same, except with the first report, I got no such error.

NOTE: I am using Delphi 6 with RB 6.03.

By the way, I keep getting errors on all the other reports I try to preview
as well. Additionally, when in the Delphi 6 IDE, when I attempt to open the
units (e.g. ct121), I get an error message stating that it cannot find the
Engine configuration file...

The demo runs fine here. It sounds as if you've run out of memory and the
BDE has gone south on you. If you shutdown Delphi and run it again, it
should begin working..

I tried restarting the machine and running the application again...get same
results. In case it's relevant, I am running on Windows XP.

It's been confirmed to happen only when you have the Delphi 6 update pack
#2. Thanks for reporting this. We'll get it fixed.

It was a D6 UpdatePack #2 issue. The problem has been fixed for the next
maintenance release and I've emailed you the patch unit.
