Documentation for the "Data" Tab

Hi,

I'm working to set up an End User reporting tool. I've set up the
report Explorer and all seems to work ok.

However, I can't seem to find any documentation on using "Data" tab
(as in Data - Design - Preview) for setting up the reports. Any
suggestions on where to look? I've been stumbling around and slowly
learning how bits and pieces work - it would be much quicker if I
could find some documentation.

Likewise, is there some documentation on setting up the Data
Dictionary?
