Charting options

edited April 2002 in General
hi,
what other charting options do i have beside TChart?
the reason i want to look at others is that TChart apparently can't handle
x-labels at different angles
and i want them at 45?

You can rotate the x-labels in TChart. Select the Axis tab and then the
Labels tab underneath that. Select Bottom Axis in the Axes list and set the
Angle field to the desired value.

thx for the info but i already tried that!
so i suppose you haven't cause otherwise you would have seen that it does
not work well when having the labels at 45?
(no blame intended, i'm just a bit frustrated that at this point it is my
only solution to charting in RB and it is frustrating that there is an
option to put the labels at a different angle but it does not work, it is
also difficult to understand that this product is quite some time available
and that this feature isn't implemented as it should be)

sooooo, are there any other options???

What do you mean by 'not work well'? I did try to rotate the labels and they
displayed ok, though the text was aliased. There are a number of charting
options for Delphi, see http://www.torry.net/charts.htm, however TeeChart is
the only one that has an RB wrapper provided. You can contact TeeMach for
further help with the TeeChart component.

    they confirmed the bug
displaying at 45? is not done correctly!

and i need it in RB
so i guess i'm stuck here?
i need another charting option for RB...
