CBuilder compatibility

edited April 2002 in General
I have found, at the link below, a Digital Metaphors document announcing
"the release of ReportBuilder 5.5, the premier reporting solution for Delphi
and C++ Builder." The document also states "available beginning with 5.5 is
a ReportBuilder edition for C++ Builder."
This leads me to believe that RB5.5 and above are compatible with C++
Builder, yet there is no mention of this on your website. Can Report Builder
be used with C++ Builder? If so, how can I obtain it? If not, why not?

Thanks very much! Report Builder looks like a great tool; I hope I'll be
able to use it.

Sorry, we currently don't support ReportBuilder for C++ Builder.

Are you ever going to? Apparently (according to the announcement cited
below) back in October of 2000 you were going to provide support for C++
Builder. What happened? Is there some technical reason that I'm not aware of
that is preventing RBuilder/C++ Builder compatibility?
I'm sorry to harp on it, but I've seen on the web (in more than one place)
that RBuilder does work with C++ Builder so I'm confused. Does it work but
you just don't officially support it?
I hope you can help clear up my confusion.
    Thanks!
