Example report layout:

State
City
Company
Contact
Address
Phone

If Contact or Address (both plain text fields) are blank, then there is a
blank space in the report. How do I make the remaining items shift up. I
tried ShiftWithParent, but the results were very flawed (lower items
overlapped group headers and the like). This is a 3-column report if that
makes any difference. RB6E.

Eric,
in the onprint event set the visibility property to false or true depending
on the value that you want to check
that way nothing or everything will get printed
if you have the enterprise version then you can do this in the calc tab and
the result will be visible at designtime
