Lack of documentation

I am new to RB (Pro) and find it very good. But there is a serious lack of
documentation. For eg, the Developers Guide has no discussion of AutoSearch
which seems to me be a major aspect of RB. Equally, I cannot find a
description of what the field entries mean in the termplate tables - I
really want to know what the ITEM_TYPE field means and cannot find it
anywhere.

Is there any downloadable documentation on either of these things?

fields.

See the TppReportExplorer.ItemFieldNames help topic for a definition of each
of the Item table fields.

Together the on-line help, the Developer's Guide, Learning ReportBuilder and
the tech tips newsgroup make up just about the most extensive set of
documentation you'll find anywhere.

That is helpful. But I don't have "Learning Report Builder". Where is that
or how can I get it?

This provides info on the fundamentals of the Report Designer and is
targeted at end-users. If you include end-user functionality in your app,
you may want to distribute this documentation with it...
