Trouble with FooterBand

Well, I have got a problem related to the dimensions of the detail band and
the footer band.
When the heigth of the detailband is not an exact part of the report?s
height and the last line cannot be represented in the first page, the report
does not put the footerband just down the last line. Instead, I have an
space from the last line to the footerBand.
I would like to Know if there?s any possibility of having the footer band
nicely adjusted to my last line, no matter how tall it is.
I have tryed setting the detailband printheight both dinamically and
statically, with the same results.

If you want to make the footer remain the same height you can use the
summary band instead of the footer which will directly follow the last
detail record. Alternately you can simply adjust the height of the footer
band in footer band's before print event to fill the remaining space on the
page. See the demo below for an example of how to do this.
