PageLimit Property Question
I am using the latest Pro Version and have a question about the PageLimit
property. In the online docs it states:
"The PageLimit property sets the number of pages which will be printed. If a
DataPipeline
is specified the report will stop when all records have been traversed or
when the page limit is reached, whichever comes first. When set to 0, the
report will generate normally, and no page limit will be enforced."
In the Developers Guide (Page 13) it states:
"Use the PageLimit property of the report to limit the number of pages
previewed when working on long reports. In other words, if the report is 200
pages long, set the PageLimit to 20 and only the first pages will be
previewed."
I am confused by this. Does this property affect the preview, or the final
printing, or both? It does make a difference. To save resources I want to
cut the preview to say 10-20 pages or so but do not want to limit the final
printing to any number.
Can you all clarify this?
