Tech Tips not in Threads
Hi,
When I load the Tech Tips group, there are no threads shown, just a
list of 105 message. Some headers, like the one titled "DADE" are
clearly meant to be the first message in a thread or some kind of
hierarchy.
Any ideas on how to get the threads or grouping to activate?
Thanks,
Phil

Unfortunately, that did not change anything. Still have a linear list
of 103 headers. (Note: I deleted the "Tech-Tips" group, Closed Agent,
did a ReStart on Windows; then started Agent and refreshed the Groups,
subscribed to "Tech-Tips", then loaded the headers in Tech-Tips).
I'm using Agent 1.8 on Windows 2000 Pro. Threads everywhere else in
Agent seem to be working just fine.
Any more suggestions?
Thanks,
Phil

newsgroup alone won't refresh it because windows caches the headers.

OK thanks - I'll give that a try. Means I'll have to save, then
restore my messages. Uggg.
Thanks,

Well, removing the entire Digitial Metaphors account did not work
either (did not get the Tech-Tips into Thread Order).
Please let me know if there's something else we can do. Otherwise,
I'll just try to find the Tech-Tips subjects as I need them.
Are you using the Agent news reader, or someting else?
Thanks,
Phil

Thanks for the suggestion - but I'm using the Agent Newsreader
(version 1.8).
Probably something in the threading mechanism that works in Outlook
does not work in Agent.
Thanks again,
Phil
