"Canvas does not allow drawing"

Hi there

I've build one simple report which worked perfectly.

Now I've started a new report, and I cannot put a label, system variable,
variable or barcode on the report - I get a "canvas does not allow drawing"
everytime!
Please help.

I use Delphi 6 (upd 2), Report Builder 6.03 Standard Ed & Win98.

Hi

I've added a viewer component to the form, then tried adding labels etc to
the report again, and now it works, even after deleting the viewer component
again.

Please explain!

Hi Juliana,

We had some similar problem some time ago, but in another context.
Our problem was that windows was out of resources.
You can check the system resources using the resource meter.

Which printer are you currently using? Try upgrading to the latest printer
driver to see if that solves the issue.
