Line split on two pages

edited June 2002 in General
One of my customers is complaining about the line at the bottom of the
report being split on two pages. Sometimes part of the lines prints on one
page and the other part prints on a second page. Sometimes the second part
will overprint the column headings on the second page. However, this is not
a consistent problem. It seems to crop up randomly. Anyone else having
this problem?

Try increasing the margins on the report. It may be caused by the fact that
the user's printer has a larger unprintable area around the page (margins).
RB asks the pritner driver for the area available in which to print. It
might be different between your printer (which you designed the report for)
    and your user's printer.

Can you provide more information about this line? Is it in the page footer
band? Can you reproduce the case wher eit happens? Are you configuring the
report layout (positioning at runtime with event handlers)? If you can
reproduce the problem, can you send a sample delphi project with the minimum
complexity required to support@digital-metaphors.com We'll be happy to take
    a look at it.
