Printing 1 across labels to a dot matrix printer

edited July 2002 in General
We use RB's features to print labels to sheets of laser labels. Works
great.

How difficult would it be to change this to 1 across on an dot matrix
printer using the built-in printer fonts ?

Thanks,
Terry.

    Terry:

I haven't done much with labels, but your description is quite short. Could
    you provide some more information?

We have a lot of practice building RB reports that print mailing labels out
to laser or bubblejet printers using 8.5x11 pages with many labels per page.
    No problem with this.

I have some old-style customers so used to loading up their trusty
dot-matrix printer with a box of tractor feed, 1 across labels and letting
    it go print 10,000+ labels.

Is it possible to build a RB report that will print to a dot-matrix printer
using the printers built in fonts (not graphics) and print labels like this
    ?

    Thanks,
    Terry.

I believe TExtraDevices has a printer driver made for dot matrix pritners
(http://www.waler.com/). As for the one wide, someone else will have to
    answer.
