Export Devices - How?

Hi,

I have installed the export devices from pragnaan as described in the
documentation, but when my report is opened in the designer the menuitems
for saving the report is disabled (I guessed those was the menus I am
supposed to use for savig the report in another format??) so I am wondering
how I actually activate this functionality in the Designer.

I have tried to set the 'AllowSaveToFile' property to true, but the save
dialog does not give any other formats to save to than the native format.

Well - I just found that the exportdevises are all listed in the
'Devicetype' property... BUT should it not be possible for the end user to
save to any of the available formats from the designer? I would have
expected that just as it is possible to print the document from the designer
it woule be possible to convert/save the report to any of the available
formats/DeviceTypes

Hi Jens,

you have to print the report!

Basically what Chris said. After enabling AllowSaveToFile (and optionally
setting the TextFileName property) simply select print from the designer and
check Print To File.
