Print in last page doesn't work in one-page reports

edited August 2002 in General
I want to print some text and calculations in the footerband of the LAST
PAGE of an end-user customizable report.
I set the "Print in last page" to "True" and "Print in First Page" to
"False" for the footerband, BUT...

If the report has only ONE page, it doen's print the footerband.
Why not? I think it os logical!!

    No. That's the problem.
I know that solution, but I can't use it in end-user designed reports.

What if my customers makes a new report and he sets the "Print in Last Page"
to True? He will see nothing!
    End-Users can't make it possible.
There are more than 100 reports in RTM format. My application loads them and
prints, and my program can't set this property to all reports.

Isn't it easier to implement it in the next version of RB?
I still think it's more logical that RB prints the footerband in one-page
reports with "PrintInLastPage" set to True, without programming!!

Thankyou for the suggestion! We had to choose how it behaves whneit was
originally implemented. There are customers who expect this behavior and
customers who don't. Maybe it should really be more like a set property
where you have more options than setting two boolean properties.
