WordWrap and Autosize for ppDBText components
Hi,
I don't know if I'm missing something, but I'm having trouble with the
ppDBText component when I set both wordwrap and autosize to true. The
component seems to calculate where to wrap based on the length of the
longest word in the text, so that I get a new line inserted pretty much
after every word. This means that the original width shrinks down by a lot,
and I end up with a long thin text column. What I'd really like to happen
is for the text component to modify the height only to allow all the text to
show, whilst leaving the width value unchanged. Is this possible at all?
Is the kind of wrapping I first described the default behaviour of all
ReportBuilder text components? If so this seems a rather odd way to
autosize.
I'd be grateful if someone could shed some light on this.
Thanks,
Terry Hoggart
