There is code generation in RAP! Click an event handler in the Events panel of RAP. Then click in the code workspace in the bottom left corner of the calc workspace- an event handler declaration is created automatically! Then move to the code toolbax and select a property or method of an object in the report. Drag this to the code workspace in your event handler. Voila, code is generated, and you didn't have to type anything! You're right, this isn't code completion like CodeRush, but there are features that make it easier on your fingers when using the RAP editor that we want you to be aware of.
