Search Function in Preview?
Hello All,
Is there a means to provide users a search capability while in print
previews? For example, I want to see if a specific SKU appears somewhere
in a 100 page report which is sorted by salesperson.
Have I overlooked something built-in?
Thanks!

a look at in depth, but it appears to be a device that runs alongside of the
screen preview from what I can tell initially, well, without running it. We
actually have a search feature in the development cycle, since this feature
is quite often requested and makes perfect sense to have in the final
product. It will probably be completed some time after the release of the
Server Edition, as a custom preview plugin demo we upload to the FTP server
(which is still down right now).

I originally wrote the search feature for a standalone Report Archive File
viewer so that we could have something like Adobe Acrobat for RB reports.
Kevin McBrearty adapted it to run-time preview reports (we don't do that
here). It was done as a parrallel device because I was adding highlight
draw commands to the area where the data was found to be a match and at the
time it was the best way I could figure to do it. I don't think that I've
made many changes since then although I've added other features to help with
navigation from the keyboard. I'm looking forward to your implementation of
this feature. It seems that you are replacing all of the features that I've
already had for some time (like the 'No Data Behaviors').
