RB53 and D5 ,canvas cannot draw error.

My application was running fine , but don't know what is the
reasons now , when I tried to run my application , which it call
the loadfromfile function , it will not execute and my application
crash and display "canvas cannot draw error !' It then crash my
window also.any idea ?

There was a patch to this, but I am not sure if it is still avaiable.
Contact support and see if they still have it.

Kalmen,

Try updating your printer driver to the latest version. There were known
issues in older versions that have been resolved in the latest release.
Please upgrade to ReportBuilder 7.02 for Delphi 5. You can download a trial
version from our website at http://www.digital-metaphors.com. Be sure to
back up all report files before you test with the new version. If this
still does not fix it, feel free to send a small working example
demonstrating the issue in .zip format to support@digital-metaphors.com.

I have also had this occur when there were no printers set up on that PC.

Chuck,

This was a bug in an older version. Try downloading the latest version of
ReportBuilder 7.02 Trial edtition from our website at
http://www.digital-metaphors.com. If your customer is not going to use a
printer for this report, then set the Report.PrinterSetup.PrinterName
property to 'screen'. This should fix the error.
