Barcode Problems
Hi,
Just a quick question regarding barcodes.
We have printed a list of barcodes using the Code39 Symbology, but using
handheld scanners we cannot scan them at all. It just doesn't register. We
use Report Builder 6.03 and the Code128 symbology works perfectly, but not
Code39.
The scanner is Code39 and Code128 compliant and scans Code39 from other
packages.
Does anyone else have these problems with RB?
Thanks in advance,

There are no known issues with using barcode 39. We acquired these barcode
components from a third party source and they have all been tested
extensively. Check out the TppBarCode.BarWidth property in the ReportBulder
help for the thresholds of each barcode. You may want to try downloading
the latest version of ReportBuilder (7.02) trial edition and see if that
fixes the problem.

a similar problem with Codabar - I forgot to put the start 'A' and end 'B'
stop characters around the data.
