How to: Summary at the end of a column (and only there)

edited April 2003 in General
RB 6 Enterprise: I have a report with two columns and need a footer at the
end of the rpeort. I tried to use the column footer area but this is printed
on every bottom of the column. The summary is not usable, because I do not
know wheter the column ends on the lft or the right side, so alignment is a
problem.

ASCII chart of waht I want:

Col1 Col2
A G
B H
C I
D J
E ----
F 10 Chars

Thanks
Bernd

    Bernd,

Create a group on a static invisible label somewhere in your report and
place the footer information in the group footer. This will print at the
end of the entire column. Next you can adjust the print position of the
group footer to print at the bottom of the page.
