ppLine not visible on page 2 etc

edited April 2003 in General
ppLines that I include in a header & Footer don't print except on page
one. The rest of the header & footer prints as expected. I must
be missing something here :-(

    Hi Jon,

works fine for me, does it happen in a newly created report too?
BTW, the latest version of ReportBuilder is 7.02.

    Hi Chris,
A real puzzle... changing the colour to black fixed the problem.
The default was Navy but the report was being printed to a B&W
laser printers ( a Lexmark Optra R+ and a HP III).

Why it prints only on the first page, I don't know. The problem
happened even with a new report and printing from the design preview.
(The lines were visible on all pages in the preview but not
    the printed copy).

Yes I've downloaded 7.02 but have not released any versions
    of my application with 7.02.

    Jon,

I wasn't able to print the line in clNavy, even when I used a thicker line. But then it wasn't printed on all pages.
I used a HP4000 laserprinter. Using a black line printed fine.
But I don't know if it is a printer driver question or a ReportBuilder issue. I expect that dark colors should be printed at least as black lines.

    Chris,
Since I used 2 completely different brands of computers,
I would think that the printer driver is not the problem.

On a new report the lines didn't print on any pages but
it still (for the old report) prints on just page 1
    (when set to Navy).

This has to be a new problem because these reports have
been working for some time. I'm not sure when the problem
appeared since I haven't had any need to test these
reports recently (since they have been stable). The problem
was identified by end-users (life would be sooo easy
    without end users )

    Jon,

If you need the clNavy lines I would send a message to support (I don't have any idea how to solve it, unfortunately)

Quite true! More, it is the _only_ problem in software development ;-)
