I am looking into using ReportBuilder, was wondering if it can handle printing continuous forms that have no page feeds, such as a cash register receipt, where there is a header, unlimited detail lines (with no page feeds), and a footer.
i am using the epson TMII as a cash printer. Epson comes wit a windows printerdriver which support sa page length of 3meters. i am using that with report builder and it worls perfect. The printer driver checks the last printet black pixel and at this point the "page" is at the end. you can cut it with a spacial control character.
on the other hand, james waler supports LPT-Printers. That are Dot matrix printer, who can print on endless paper with no page length. it emulates the graphcial layout on a printer with a raster of 6 or 8 lines per inch and with 17, 15, 12 and 10 chars per inch.
