Odd printing behavior.

edited May 2003 in General
We have a customer with difficulty priniting a work order. The strange thing
is that some times it prints fine and sometimes it doesn't. They are the
only customer having the problem

They are using an HP 2100-TN. We are using Delphi 5, RB 4.24. Was wondering
if there were any known issues with this particular combination.

Thanks,

    Bob,

There are no known issues like this. The version of ReportBuilder you are
using is over three years old and there have been numerous fixes and
enhancements since then. Please download a trial copy of ReportBuilder 7.02
for Delphi 5 and test with that. Also, make sure your customer is using the
latest printer driver for the printer they are using.

    Thanks.

I am already having them check their drivers. I also know that we are behind
on updates, but I have no control over that. I was hoping that a specific
"known problem" would be inducement enough to the powers that be to get an
    update applied.

    Bob,

We have had no know issues with the ReportBuilder/HP 2100 combination. What
specifically are the symptoms of the problem printing? It is most likely
the print driver, however we would like you to try downloading the trial
version of ReportBuilder 7.02 and test with that. Be sure that you back up
all your reports before running them in the newer version.
