RB6-7 upgrade or Delphi 5-6 has degraded jpg print quality

Several of my users who use jpg images in a ppIMage as a
letterhead, claim that the image print quality has severely
degraded. The app was D5 with RB6 and is now D6 with RB7.

I have used the same old arguments of new printer drivers but
their argument that "it was alright before we upgraded" is hard
to refute. I have tried direct printing but this is still not
good.

Any ideas what may have caused this quality degradation and how
to fix it?

    Pat,

    Make sure the images are not being resized when loading to the upgraded
    version. Please send an example demonstrating the problem to
    support@digital-metaphors.com and we'll take a look.

    They are exactly the same images that were used previously and they are
    resized to fit. SInce I can't reproduce the problem myself - it is
    related to different printers, and yes they do have the latest drivers, -
    its pretty difficult to send you an example. Perhaps I should try to make
    the images a fixed size and redistribute them.
