Crosstab - increasing column width

edited May 2003 in General
D6 SP2, RB 7 latest build.

I have a crosstab with two dimensions ( A vs. B and C). For B and C I have
turned off the display of subtotals. When the report prints or previews, the
columns for the sums of A constantly increase in width.

If I turn on the display of subtotals, the cols preserve their width.

BTW: Is there any way to control the width and height of individuals cells
or rows?

TIA
Bernd

    Bernd,

The column widths in a Crosstab are created automatically and cannot be
adjusted. You will need to register a crosstab renderer replacement. Check
out the TppCrosstabRenderer class for more information in the ppCTRend.pas
    file.

Yes thanks, this the answer to my second question. Do you have an answer for
    my first question too?

This looks like a bug+ I have no work around.

BTW: It seems, as if blanks at the end of the cation get multiplied with
each column. If I set the caption in RAP to "A-" (where - is a blank), the
second col has "A--", the third "A----" as caption.

    Thank you.

    Bernd,

Are you able to recreate this bug in our crosstab demos? If so, please
create a simple example demonstrating this bug and send it to
    support@digital-metaphors.com. Thanks.

Does an archived report help too?

    Hi Bernd,

Sorry, but we will need a live report example to test the issue you are
    experiencing.
