report outline
hi,
i think there is a problem with the report outline feature in the preview:
i have a report with a query wich needs an autosearch value
so previewing the report gives me the report with the default value (the
value introduced in the data tab of the dade)
now whilst in preview i click on the magnifier so i can choose another value
this works perfectly but the outline is added with these new pages and it
remembers the old pages wich aren't in the current report anylonger
so if you could look into this
side question: i would like to be able to define the detail wich is
presented in the outline
for example, every group defined gets its leaf in the tree, is there a way
to disable this and is there a way to define what should be shown as text
for the leaf, after all, almost all groupings are on a primkey value and
this is meaningless for the end user...

Comments
1. This is a known issue with the report outline and has been logged for
future fixes. Thanks for pointing it out.
2. To customize the outline text, check out the help on the
OnOutlineNodeCreate event. You will want to modify the aNode properties.
Check NodeType and set the Caption property.
