problem with BinName and Duplex

The printer-setup functions BinName and Duplex do not function on all
printers. On the HP laser jet 5 and Kyocera FS9000 do not funktioneieren it,
while they function on the printer HP laser jet 5Si. What can lie?

Dirk,

Some printers do not support duplex printing. The HP LaserJet 5 does not.
Be sure that your other printers support duplex printing before using this
option.

We use the HP LaserJet 5 here and the BinName property works correctly.
Make sure you have the latest printer driver installed for each printer and
see if that helps.

print duplex. He has a optional duplex unit. From word and other standard
software I can other the printersettings adjust the duplex printing. In a
report other the menue side settings the duplex property working correct.
But in a event StartPage the setting Engine.Page.PrinterSetup.Duplex :=
dpNone or Engine.Page.PrinterSetup.Duplex := dpHorizontal not working. Why?

Try setting Report.PrinterSetup.DelegateCopies to True and see if that
helps. Also, make sure you are using the latest printer driver for your
specific printer.
