Delphi 7 Architect - RB 7.02 Enterprise - 2 Column report 2nd column print on new page

Hello,

I've got a report, 2 columns grouped on 3 fields. I expect to have 7 details
per column, the eighth detail should start the second column.

The problem is that the eighth detail prints on a new page.

Can you give me some clue?.

Felix,

Make sure you are using real columns by selecting the File | Page Setup menu
option in the report designer and choosing to have a 2 column report. This
way you will have true columns and your detail fields shouldn't break to a
new page. You will also receive more options in the group dialog to tell
how many fields you want in each column and if you would like a new column
on the group break.

By the way, the report was working with Delphi 5/RB 6.03.
