How do you suppress a blank line in an address?

edited June 2003 in General
If you are printing an address like
Add1
Add2
Add3
City
PostCode

and "Add3" is blank, how do you suppress the "Add3" line and automatically
close up the address so you don't have an ugly blank line? In Crystal
Reports you simply mark the line as "suppress if blank".

Help!

    barry,
put everyone of them in a region
and have the region printed or not when the addr is empty
let the regions shift relative to each other

At the risk of appearing a total idiot - how do you insert a region? I've
not used RB7 before- and it many months since I last used RB6 in anger - and
    I'm under pressure to deliver!

    THanks!

Can I ask a stupid question - if you insert a region, how do you stop it
printing? I'm under a lot of pressure to deliver (in the next hour!) and
haven't used regions in RB before.

    Hi Barry,

Check out Demo 33 located in the \RBuilder\Demos\1. Reports\... directory.
Run the Demo.dpr project to see the demo in action. Open the dm0033.pas
file to see the code. Hope this helps.
